Bronze: Bronze is MSA's entry level swimming group. Swimmers should be able to swim a length of the pool unasssited. Swimmers are encouraged to attend practice at least two to three times per week. There are no minimum requirements for this group. Practices will emphasize basic stroke techniques and skill aquisition.
Silver: Silver is the next group up from Bronze and includes a more rigorous training schedule. Silver group swimmers experience an increase in dryland and water training.
Gold: The Gold group is MSA's highest junior level age group, and includes the most committed junior swimmers. Both the duration of the training and the training intensity increase in the gold group
Senior Group: The Senior group is composed of expierence swimmers aged 13 and up. Emphasis is placed on conditioning and preparation for high school swimming and development for the NTG group. Swimmers at this level are provided a strong conditioning background that will prepare them to progress to higher levels of achievement.
National Training Group: The National Training Group is the highest level of competition at MSA. NTG swimmers are highly motivated, and consistently exhibit goal-oriented behavior. NTG group members embody MSA competitive values of the pursuit of excellence, commitment, dedication, and sportsmanship.
