Head Coach - Karen Schille (right on photo)
I grew up in Atlanta, GA and I have always loved to swim and swam in recreational leagues when I was young. After several moves with my husband, David, and sons, Rand and Thompson, we lived in Richmond VA where my sons started swimming. I have spent the last six years on pool decks as a "swim team mom" and behind the scenes working on everything from fundraising to recruiting. I enjoyed watching the children learn to swim and compete and I am thrilled to be the new head coach of the Meridian Swim team helping these children learn to swim and compete.

Past Coach - Tracey Cronley (left on photo)
I grew up in Mission Viejo, CA and started swimming for our local team, The Mission Viejo Nadadores, at age 4. I swam with them all the way up to and even during college (summer breaks) until I was about 21. From the age of 12 on, I competed in many Junior and Senior National meets. After graduating from high school, I received a full tuition scholarship to swim at The University of Kansas. I swam there for my freshman and sophomore years. While in college, I was a finalist in most of my events at the Big 8 conference meet my freshman year and the Big 12 conference meet my sophomore year. My best events were the 200 fly and middle and distance freestyle. I graduated from KU in 1999.
